  Yes, because it's stupid.  (sorry, no offense intended!)

  Hey, I DID NOT OFFER to host this stuff!  I offered to donate server
hardware to VCF for YOU to do it in-house...where it belongs.  But,
since you mentioned it...

  In my case, my company is a registered, tax-collecting, tax-paying
corporation, it runs professional hardware in a commercial building with
redundant systems and a support staff, and it is paid to provide these
services.

  But I am the owner of this company, and you know me personally, so
some random hosting/VPS company that's owned by strangers of
heaven-only-knows-what expertise and motivations would obviously be
preferable!  Of course, I see the logic now.
