I was able to get my hands on another Seattle Gazelle. I will mostly use this for spare parts for my main machine but this one came with original manuals and an 8” diskette. No floppy controller or drives, though, which is fine with me since I already have those.

What’s interesting is that this is the second system of this type I’ve seen that uses the TEi enclosure. The one in the VCF collection is a 22-slot version and I have a 12-slot version.

More to come as I restore this one. It was working as of when it was stored 20 years ago.

So I had to looks this up, so for folks like me I'll save you the upshot, from a pinterest post.
Very cool- Congrats, RIchard!

"Seattle Computer Gazelle Even if you've never heard of this massive computer, the Gazelle is truly a historic computer. Neither because it was one of the first 8088, then 8086 based computer, nor because this Gazelle is probably the heaviest 8088 system ever built, but because it was the computer Tim Paterson wrote DOS for, the first DOS operating system that became later MS-DOS 1.0 when Microsoft bought the rights to DOS from Tim's company, afterwards."
