[vcf-midatlantic] OFF TOPIC movie

Good evening. I found the interview with Ken Thompson on my news feed.

Used to work for Digital Equipment Corporation back in the 80s and early
90s before they sold off everything. Worked on everything from PDP 8s up
thru Vax 8000s and a few 9000s. Started as Mag tape specialist, worked up
to remote service engineer at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Spent week at
Colorado Springs Remote Support.

Still have an old Sol20 S100 computer. Built PCs from 286s up to current
one. AMD based. Run Windows, Linux on laptop.

Thanks for accepting me. Evan, if you're interested I would donate the
Sol20.
