Dean,
I have one that i picked up in a thrift store a couple of years ago.
I do not have the 8 volt AC transformer that normally powers it.
I feed it with 9 volts DC which works just fine ( it feeds straight into
a full wave bridge ), except the ± voltages are not developed for the
RS-232 output.
It came with a CTR-83 cassette recorder.
I was surprised that there is a very active Yahoo! group for the MC-10
I had one of the first COCOs , but got rid of it when I got a PC.
I really, really hate that squared off 6847 font.
If not for that I'd get one of the later COCOs to play with.
And the only thing that I have with a NTSC input is an old LCD in the
bedroom.
I thought about Grant Searle's FPGA emulation, but looks like a steep
learning curve.
Might be a good class.
