I’m not sure I get the tag line “A sign of the end times.”

As recently as March of this year a number of these exact same chips sold from $770 to over $1000. And this is not a new phenomenon. Prices have generally been in this range for at least the past year that I’ve been following auctions of them, likely for longer.

As Bill mentioned, there are always some exceptions where someone got a “deal.”
