Yes, and Windows NT and Windows 2000 also support AFP (up to Windows Server 2003 I think, but most regular users don’t have access to that). I remember running a bridge on an NT box. I have to start writing this down.

If you can get ethernet going on the Mac, another option is getting and older Buffalo NAS which supports appletalk, NetBUI, FTP, and other protocols. They make a great "bridge" device when working with older systems.
