Hello!
For a while the NYC Hall Of Science Amateur Radio group would throw
theirs on a certain Sunday in October. That one was excellent with the
best vendors, and I bought scads of electronic parts from a chap who
was it seems cleaning out his basement. While he in no way resembled
Herb, the methods behind his talents made me think of our resident
everything else.
One wasn't thrown last year for obvious reasons, but the one two years
ago, was also a shell of its former self. They also canceled Field Day
last year for the same reason, and I believe they did so this year,
not knowing if it would be good enough to risk things.
In fact for a while they would throw two, one in March before Field
Day, and another much later in October.
However, Dave there's a problem, one of the arriving Yeti in Blue Caps
needs a very big amount of bandwidth and a very fast computer from the
last century.
