My first quality station was the WESD51. I do think that the Hakko 888 is a
better choice, these days, though.
I am currently using an Aouye Hakko clone, at my temporary house, which is
fine, if you know the limitations.
I also like, very much, the TS100 iron (with the replacement open source
firmware), for portable use.
