Much discussion occurred about IC sockets. No one suggested purchase of
machine-pin sockets, which is my choice. "Double wipe" sockets are
preferred by others. CDL "should" purchase whichever style they find
satisfactory. As to number of pins: some of all kinds should be stocked
by CDL, they will get used eventually. But pin-counts above 40 are
somewhat specialized. - regards, Herb
