Wipe sockets (double or single) have achieved "straight into the
trash" status around here. Life is just too short for that cheap crap.
 I only use machined-pin sockets.

No, I'm not rich (I have real trouble keeping the lights on around
here most of the time!) but my time is valuable, and cheap sockets are a
false economy.

I realize this recommendation will be looked upon dimly by this broken
society that thinks Wal*Mart and McDonalds are great, but I have to be
honest.

And holy crap, the price on those has gone up by more than 50% since
January! Make The Supply Chain Great Again, err somethin'. I can feel
my lunch about to make a reappearance.
