[vcf-midatlantic] Has anyone thought of the VCFED hosting a Mastodon instance?

How active would you say the SDF instance is?  If I were to join, the
local timeline wont be a graveyard, will it?

I'm on mastodon - you don't really need an instance, and there's
acouple classic computer instances already.   It is handy to
