I don't feel like I'm "trying to fill the slot". I'm looking for great
speakers with an emphasis on those that are female.

Thank you for your comments and insights. If you look at my list Mar Hicks
fits that description. She is one of the first that I will be contacting.

Yes. I think that this discussion is a great way to solicit speakers that I
didn't think of. There is no need to keep it secret. Brainstorming on this
list has brought some great suggestions. I would rather get a suggestion
now than months down the line when it is too late.
