No,
The LaserDisc box set special edition includes extras like a short behind the scenes of filming, the trailers and some other extras, the only real “different edit” is a section of the Light Cycle game with the original fully electronic score as the orchestral score was still being recorded at that time.

As for the CED, if it’s in good condition it should not skip that much and people I know who worked on CED says it was the best looking master and disc they ever put out, for anything from film.
