So I hooked up one of my TRS-80 Model I computers and tested with the cassette decks (both work great btw!) I hooked up the expansion interface (with a buffered cable) and that seems to work as well. I hooked up one of the Mini Disk drives and I’m able to get it to spin using the POKE 14304,1 command, but after going through three full boxes of floppies I have no Boot Disks for it - everything is for Model III/4! I’m not looking for the latest/greatest OS, just one that I can use to test the drives out. I know I can order one from trs-80.com but what should I ask for? If memory serves, the last OS I used was Newdos/80? Any advice? Anyone want to lend/give me a floppy for testing?
I do also have a Model 4 (128K!) with functional drives, but 40TRK DS/DD. Original mini-disks were SS/SD, correct? I guess there’s no way to use that to make a boot disk for the Model I?
btw, I finally got into the back of the closet with the software. Also in there I found an Apple IIgs, a couple of Bernoulli drives, a couple of Mac CD-ROM (CDR?) drives, Mac DAT drive, another Mac PowerPC tower, a pair of Apple DuoDrives, and another NEC MultiSync monitor. Oh, also found my Wang WLTC! It’ll be a while before I get to testing all this - obviously working on the TRS-80s now. It’s truly a trip down memory lane. A TRS-80 Model I was my first computer back in the 70s, and I used it for many years!

Thanks to Dean Notarnicola for helping me identify the 32K expansion board for the Model 100. And many thanks to those who have adopted some of my babies so far!

> Well, folks, I've gotten to the age where I need to seriously downsize my hobbies and collections, not wanting to leave it to my children to have to deal with in later years. (I had to do that recently for a relative.) On the electronics side, I've decided to concentrate on my vintage video game systems - and therefore sell off most of my vintage computer stuff. My collection includes mostly 8-bit stuff: TRS-80 Models I, IV, M100, etc. - Atari 400, 800, Portfolio, ST, etc. - C64/VIC20 - T/S1000 (including an unbuilt kit), Apple II, II+, IIe, IIe Platinum, IIgs - Wang WLTC - Mattel Aquarius - TI-99/4A - many others that I still have to dig out - plus lots of peripherals, disks, manuals, etc. Also have some newer Macs starting with a Mac Plus in an Apple carrying bag.

I'm willing to ship some of the smaller items, but in general systems or monitors will need to be picked up here (near the Fort Washington exit of the PA Turnpike) or nearby, and cash or PayPal for payment. I may also consider trades for some of the video game stuff I'm looking for.
