Marble Machine X - A Lesson in Dumb Design

Dumb Design requirements are holding the Marble Machine X back from Success,
let us see if we can at least try to learn something from my biggest
mistakes :)
"Back to the drawing board" as we used to say, but more importantly,
"THINK".
Not "Think different", more like "think CLEARLY", "think AHEAD"
but most of all, KEEP IT SIMPLE! Antoine de Saint-Exupery said it best
"perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add
but when there is nothing left to take away"
[sadly, "value engineering" often takes that to stupid extremes]
