[vcf-midatlantic] Steering Committee Elections - UPDATE

At the Dec 12, 2023 VCF-MA Steering Committee meeting, Alex Jacocks
announced that he needed to step down from his position as a
Steering Committee member. Since Alex was in the middle of his two year
term, his position opened up as an off-cycle opening as defined by the
VCF-MA Steering Committee by-laws. As such, the by-laws allow for the
Steering Committee to fill the open spot without a separate election.

Since the recent election produced more nominees than open Steering
Committee positions, the Steering Committee decided to place into the open
position the candidate from the recent election with the third highest
number of votes. That person is Dave McGuire, who coincidentally was an
incumbent in the recent election. However, his placement is not for a full
two years. It is only for the remainder of Alex's original term, to the end
of 2024.

As it stands for now, the current makeup of the VCF-MA Steering Committee
is:

Doug Crawford
Dave McGuire
Thomas Gilinsky
Ian Litchfield

organization dedicated to vintage computing.
