Any constructive criticism as well as brainstorming is helpful!

Getting the questions into the microphone has been a problem for years.
I've made a lot of effort to
1) Get mic runners to ask people to speak into the microphone.
2) Remind speakers to repeat the question.
I've thought about having a walk up microphone, but I'm not sure most
people will want to do that. We can try next year.
We got more volunteers for 2024, but we are still lacking. The A/V guys
hand the equipment side, but we need a "Speaker Support" side of volunteers
to handle issues such as this.
I can ask the A/V guys about a directional microphone, but I think that a
volunteer might be needed to move it. I don't know.

Yeah. That's a learning experience for all public speakers. I'm sure I do a
lot of things that are distracting and can be improved myself!
