Hi.. No I wasn't your mic runner.
I'm not trying to place blame or anything ,but trying to address an
issue that needs to be addressed.
Both speakers and volunteers want this to work out and in the moment
of execution things fail and we just need to figure out what to do.
Presenters are just trying to get through their presentation, they
have a lot on their mind and I get that.
We just need to work together to ensure it goes smoothly and as
professionally as we can.
I think volunteers and presenters should meet before to go over things
prior to the speech
I think there needs to be a written best practice for the presenters
and runners , so they understand each other and can work together.
I don't see more mic runners happening as getting volunteers is difficult.
