That was MY introduction to MC Frontalot, and probably still my favorite
First world problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3w1_E1V46M
The art style reminds me of the manga parts of FLCL. Maybe it's just
the first time I was exposed to that style. I saw a couple episodes of FLCL
at some animecon back in the very early 2000s (no dub, no sub, and I only
knew a couple dozen words of Japanese at the time). The animation and the
embedded manga and the music (Pillows) were so awesome I knew I couldn't
wait for an official US release.
I tracked down some discs I could play on my region-free player, and I
handed out printed copies to the rest of my family of the best Japanese ->
English translation I could find (not terribly good, but sufficient).
