[vcf-midatlantic] WANTED - any piece of tech that has braille

Blind people use technology called braille displays or braille note takers. 2 big names in their circle are the Pacmate from freedom scientific (used to be blazie engineering) and braillenote from pulsedata humanware among others. There is also printers called braille embossers. To the untrained eye they might appear to be a big, massive weird looking no ink dot matrix printer.

I wanted to put a feeler out there since we all pour thru loads of old tech at different locations thru out the USA. If you run across anything, please don't hesitate to let me know. My wife is blind and since I'm still kicking her circa 2002 Windows CE 2.12 Braillenote qwerty keyboard 32 cell notetaker and circa 2000 Blazie Braille Blazer down the road to keep them alive I've started thinking I have an untapped source right here with all the eyes in VCF when they go looking for old tech! I would love to start a collection of old assistive technologies!

This tech brand new is way too expensive for a human to buy on their own and normally requires a state rehabilitation or disability office to cut a check for.
