Hello!
At one of the Swap Meets one of our regulars sold me a collection of
memory cards. Included in it was the holder for the rarely seen in
public Pocket Zip disk holder. He did not have any as a part of his
collection of items. I did find two on Amazon(!) and got them here
earlier. The laptop that does have a PC card connector here, doesn't
want to believe they exist.
I have a vague recollection of talking with the late company of IOMega
about the whole technology of Zip disks at a trade show a very long
time ago, and the droid there showed me both. We also talked about the
Bernoulli drives that the company did make, and he asserted that
particular line ot technology really wasn't his forte.
More about those as I continue investigating.
Oh and the raptor is currently in hibernation inside the warehouse
building, he'll be there until Spring starts officially.
