[vcf-midatlantic] Northern VA Vintage Computer Meetup - 30 June 2024

Hello Bill,

I want to contribute and enhance the community by having more opportunities to gather and be social.

I have greatly enjoyed becoming part of this community over the past 2 year and what it has to offer: VCF-East, System Source event among others.  This is something that I figured I could handle putting together that wasn’t to much of a heavy lift while starting somewhere.  Will it be perfect?  Nope.  Will it be a learning experience most definitely.

I have re-acquired several Amiga’s over this time where I have done restoration on some which I want to share.

I am very excited to see and hear what others are excited about and their projects as well so this accomplishes both goals.

No more computer wars from the 80-90s just hey what’s that and what neat things are you doing with it.  I for one think that any computer 30+ years old that turns on and works in generally neat.

I hope that helps answer your question to “What is the occasion?"

I look forward to seeing and chatting with people I know and making new friends.  Sharing excitement with others if they bring something or not.
