To give everyone an update.
The man dropped off a double-sided floppy disk yesterday (5/18/24). Tony
Bogan stopped by on 5/19/24 with a working Mac SE/30. I popped the disk in.
It read without any problems. There were MS word documents on it they
loaded fine. Tony copied them to his SD hard drive. He also took the disk
for imaging. He will attach hardware so that they can be transferred to a
modern format and emailed to me and then to the man.
So it all worked out in the end!
In the future I hope to learn and get the Applesauce working and hooked up
to an external drive 3 1/2" as well as 5 1/4" drive. Doug hopes to get
other things like Greaseweasel, etc. working and we are hoping to get help
from others who know about creating an archiving setup in the museum.
