All services charge a fee of some kind. PayPal always charges a fee when doing business. When it it is Friends and Family, then there is no fee. Humanitix doesn't control the fees that PayPal charges. Here is the breakdown for a one day ticket with 20% VCF member discount: Ticket price: $46.00 Discount: -$9.20 Final amount paid: *$36.80* - $36.80 * 3.9% = $1.43 - $1.29 fixed fee + $1.43 - Total Booking fee = $2.72 Any additional amount on top of this is due to the PayPal surcharge. PayPal charges this fee and is beyond the control of me or Humantix. So it isn't Humanitix charging 10%, they charge 3.9% + $1.29 per ticket, then PayPal adds $1.29.

We had gone from EventBrite to Humanitix because the fees were less. This is the first time that I'm aware of there being any issue.
