Looking for Tandy 1000 EX HX computer / parts

I have a 1000HX I recently picked up on Craigs and have a few upgrades waiting for parts to expand. Sadly, the case is cracked pretty notably and I'm looking to replace the case. But, what I am most looking for is the proprietary Tandy "PLUS" RAM expansion board for the EX or HX. Does anyone have anything along these lines? Thanks. bp -- Heisenberg may have slept here.

Paging Ian Primus... There are a few interesting things in this auction that's near me. Starting around lot # 151 https://www.collarcityauctionsonline.com/servlet/List.do?auctionId=465&page… What happened to that Apple II looking machine? Today somebody pointed this beast out to me, further down: https://www.collarcityauctionsonline.com/servlet/List.do?auctionId=465&page… IBM 3420 tape unit. I feel like it was NYS DMV surplus. I'm not sure what I'd do with it, or even that I can move it, but... More seriously, I'm thinking about the Mac Portables and maybe the IBM portable lot; my wife has bid on some non-computer items already. So we're probably going to go pick *something* up. Let me know if you see something interesting and maybe we can make this happen. Anything more than a couple wagon-sized-car-loads will be challenging but not impossible. -- Jameel Akari

Repair Day Next Sat 12th - What to expect?

Just a notice that I'll be bringing a bunch more stuff to give away or sell for $10 max at the repair day. Some Atari 8bit stuff, odds and Ends, Monitors (Commodore) and extra junk that is useful but that I will never use. Trades are accepted first before I give any away or sell - so if you have something interested and Unixy, bring it and lets see what we have. Anyone that can help me with fixes will also get first dibs on the give-away stuff. I'll also be bringing a SunU10 to try and get it to boot, An Apple IIFX to try and re-cap, and some PS to try and recap, assuming I get the caps. And a Tandy 600 that won't turn on. Looks like i'll be bringing my A2000 and try to copy some floppies for another member. I'm not that awesome w/ soldering, mostly due to lack of experience. I'm bringing my own soldering iron. This will be my first one- just want to check and make sure what is going to happen will happen - is the main room used like at Festivus? Assuming that ppl that come must bring everything they need for work, or are there things there from VCF to use? (Irons, monitors, network etc) ? Thanks! -andy

Looking for Tandy 2000 floppy bezel

All – I’m adding a second floppy drive (a non-vintage 3.5” drive) to my recently-restored T2K and in the process, I realize that it needs a different floppy bezel for two drives. Looking for a Kalok IDE drive

"Why??? I’m looking for something to use with an IDE adapter on my Lisa, and [I] want it to sound interesting." It's a little amusing, to ask for hard drives based on acoustics. I'm an old person from a different time; I guess it's a thing now. (Yes, I know there's videos of stacks of drives playing tunes, thank you.) When drive stepping was noisier, it was a diagnostic, more convenient than a blinking "drive activity" LED. I'm guessing, the Lisa may not accept any ancient IDE hard-drive. I know that some really old IDE hard drives have "the wrong" IDE interface (8 bit data and not standard 16 bit data). Is there a list of IDE hard drive brand/models the Lisa could reasonably use? So - is there really a demand for "acoustic" IDE hard drives? Also, with a sound like a winding up jet engine as they start up? I can dig up some of these. No warranties. Herb -- Herbert R. Is there an oscilloscope and a logic probe available for use? I want to attempt to repair the JrAccelerator board for one of my PCjr machines. I don't have schematics for it so everything is going to be by scoping, eyeballing, skill, and luck. Hopefully it's nothing major. I know the system works as I've pulled the board and put the 8088 back in and it started up just fine. I will also be bringing my Amiga 2000HD as Andy is bring me a copy of workbench. I've had a bit of Unix Experience. I had a chance to get a number of Octanes and Indigos with 20"+ sized screens and likely real time video capture/editing cards. They were the editing workstations for Fox. But at the time I had no place to put them.
