About 15 visitors today with mild/moderate interest. The weather was nice; most people probably went to the beach. Jeff B., Corey, and I went to dinner together. We had a special guest in the early evening -- Mr. Dave McGuire + Autumn, who stopped by from Pittsburgh en route to another place. Dave brought some goodies for our IBM System/36 and also picked up some goodies that we'd been holding for him.

About 20 visitors today. A mixture of high, medium and low interest. We always seem to get busy around 3 or 3:30pm because visitors go through all the other museums first. One high interest guy worked at IBM for 40 years and had lots of questions and lots of stories about technologies there. Museum report

Adam and I did another warehouse day. We were there today from 11am to 7pm. We built a shelving unit for "N" and "O" items: NeXT, NEC, Ohio Scientific. We made shelving unit for IBM and Intel. We rearranged some Apple III and Mac items. But the highlight today was that we cleared an entire aisle of random unsorted "stuff". :) We also established three pallets for future use: one is "stuff for the dumpster", one is "hardware to sell", and one is "book/magazines/etc. to sell". We'll empty the dumpster pallet every time it gets full. We'll make the "to sell" pallets available at all events.

Wanted: 8 matching 4:3 composite LCD screens

This is a difficult request to fill. We want to hang composite TVs/monitors from the museum ceiling so we can demo the computers on the top shelves (can't use regular monitors because of the slanted shelves). We do not want to use composite-to-VGA adapters because they produce poor image quality. Can anyone help us procure 8 identical LCDs with composite input and with 4:3 displays? Meanwhile, somehow we collected around a dozen small/medium VGA LCD monitors through the years. We don't need most of those. We'll test them and make them available at upcoming workshops.
