Quick update on CDL: As we emerge from Covid mode, CDL will again begin accepting makerspace memberships in 2022. The annual fee is $225.00, with monthly being slightly higher To answer two questions that were recently asked: 1. How does the above membership impact VCF and the computer repair workshops? Zero Impact. The workshop fee addressed both the InfoAge user fee and a small stipend for CDL. 2. Why does CDL charge a stipend? Tools, small wares, and consumables. VCF is consulting with a small film studio to tell a story from the early 90's. They want to be as authentic as possible. Does anyone have any pictures from college computer lab's from this time period? If yes, then please contact me. MMURTL 32-bit project OS

All – In the early-1990’s, there was a book about a DIY 32-bit OS, written by Rich Burgess (it’s often called “MMURTL”). I started playing with it again after a lot of years, and there are some fixed/enhancements for it, but every version of one of the files (CLI.C) in every archive on-line (AJMFixes1.zip) is corrupt. If anyone has a non-corrupt version of this, please let me know. Even the “new” github repros have the corrupt version. Thanks! That Lisa looks in much better shape than the Lisa 1 down at System Source! Wherever you found it, nice find.
