I've posted this twice in the past week, but I'm still getting emails from people telling me that they didn't see any information about Festivus. Here is the repost: Festivus will be: *DATE AND TIME: * Saturday, December 9 from 10AM until very late into the night. *LOCATION:* At InfoAge: 2201 Marconi Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719 *BUILDING:* *9010-D*, A.K.A. *The Visitors Center*, A.K.A. *The Sandy Dorms*, A.K.A. *The bunkrooms* *RSVP: LET ME KNOW YOUR ARE COMING BY PUTTING YOUR NAME ON THIS LIST* <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mB-jnNK4eSuH1AKXVlJdudKPKyeBYgeDJCI…> *WEATHER:* I have ordered decent weather with temperature between 33 and 50 degrees. No snow or rain this time. *COST: * $25 per person. No Exceptions. Whether you bring food or not. Eat food or not. We still have to pay for use of the space. It is a bargain with plenty of food, drinks, socializing, swap meet, video games, etc. Any money leftover will be used for next years Festivus. *OVERNIGHT STAY: * $25 per person, per night. No Exceptions. We have to pay for everyone that sleeps overnight. It doesn't matter where they sleep in the building (i.e. in a bunkbed, couch, floor, etc.) *PAYMENTS*: *IN-PERSON*: Cash, credit card, Apple Pay, etc. through Square. Greetings! Voting for the two open positions on the Vintage Computer Federation - Mid Atlantic Steering Committee are officially open. The voting period will run until 11:59PM, December 8, 2023. VCFed warehouse closure reminder

Hello all, This is a reminder that the Vintage Computer Federation's warehouse will be sealed for renovation, reorganization, and inventorying starting on *January 1st, 2024*. As such, no items will be permitted into or out of the warehouse unless absolutely necessary. As many VCF members have used the warehouse for storage of their personal belongings, it is imperative that they either come to retrieve their belongings or notify me off-list ( thomas.gilinsky(a)vcfed.org) what of theirs is currently stowed in the warehouse so that I may tag it and relocate it outside of the warehouse. Please provide *verifiable proof* that the item in question is your personal property, AND that it was not given to VCF as a donation. *All items within the warehouse that have not been verified and tagged by January 1st will be treated as the property of VCF.* If your item has been verified and tagged before January 1st, but you are not able to collect it, then you will still be able to pick it up after the cut-off date, but *ONLY* if it has been verified and tagged. Semi-OT: FREE at Festivus: Sun Ultra 40 (AMD64) Workstation

All, I have a Sun Ultra 40 workstation I'd like to find a new home for. It works but has some caps starting to bulge. This is a dual AMD Opteron workstation, a real beast of a box. It's the first model, not the M2. The case is in pretty decent shape, it was palletized with a bunch of other surplus machines at one point so it's not pristine, but it's also not majorly scratched up. Specs: * Dual AMD Opteron 280 (4 total cores) * 16 GB RAM * ATI Radeon HD6500 * Slotloading DVD drive (works) * All air baffles in place * One cap starting to bulge I won't bring it unless someone definitely wants it, so let me know if you definitely want it. 3dfx Voodoo Repair/Broken Stuff Wanted

All, I've started repairing 3dfx Voodoo boards, if you have something you might want repaired you can bring it to Festivus and have me take a look. Doesn't matter how beat up it is, it's probably fixable -- I finished grafting a PCI connector back onto a Voodoo 1 that'd been sheared for scrap earlier this year! I'm also looking for any non-working cards, condition doesn't matter. Thanks, Jonathan

Hi everyone, Recently completed a house move, so my things are in disarray and apologies for the potentially disorganized nature of this post, I've just started going through a lot of things that I'll eventually be selling/trading/offloading/giving away. I have a ton of stuff, but not entirely sure I can locate what you may be looking for at this point, even if I know I have it. Feel free to email if you have something you are looking for. I'll update the Festivus swap meet Google Sheets list as well with what I know I have available. I have a literal pile of S100 and related equipment that I would love to offload. I can bring things to Festivus, but don't want to drag them there unless there is interest (that stuff is heavy, yo). I hate when people say "make an offer", but I absolutely have no idea what to ask (unless otherwise noted) for most of this stuff, so feel free to make what you think is a reasonable offer and we will work something out. OT: InfoAge needs a Santa on Dec. 9

As all of you should know, the Holiday Spectacular and Christmas Train Show starts this weekend. InfoAge has hired a Santa for the event but he is not available on the 9th. Their back up Santa is also not available that day. They have a freshly laundered suit and a new wig and beard set. Please let me know if you can help out. Thanks!
