Any Ham Radio operators going to the swap meet?

In order to get listed on the Ham Radio sites for our VCF Swap Meet, we need someone to monitor the talk-in frequency. Jeff Salzman has done this in the past for us, but he isn't able to attend. Is there someone else that can do this? I have the talk-in frequency and PL from previous years. Handheld computers

Hello! In the years before I got more involved in the retro computer movement, that is the activities of our group, I spent a month trying out a handheld computer unit. This contraption was originally intended by its designers, people at the printer division of Epson of all companies, to wear a barcode reader, lightpen sized one, like the one for the TRS-80 Model 100, to make use of programs written by using DOS(!) based tools for it. The thing contained MS-DOS6.22 in ROM, It got sent back at the end of the month reluctantly, mostly because at the time I didn't have a laptop who could communicate with it,via the PC Card slot it used. And of course the thing was expensive, then, for 1992 or so dollars. Naturally I'm still trying to find the things, and possibly the programming tools. Has anything like that shown up on the list of things for sale for the Swap meet? I'll even extend my wait until what we do in December, next. Have used and owned Cole Parmer units in the past, the Cole-Parmer 08895-76 is the unit I am considering Looking for feedback on both other options, and what is the biggest unit that would be practical for the Makerspace Martin

Signal corps teletypewriter

Today I was at a “Silent key” estate. There was a Signal Corps teletypewriter model TT-5/SF serial number 3711 , order number 3254-PH-52 Teletype corporation I only have a couple of pictures and I would send to anyone who is interested first come first serve I do not have the unit, it is still at the house, in the basement. Hard to get to and hard to move. Please let me know right away if you are interested and I will send pics I have and later talk to the executor of the estate . KIM-1 Boards of the Past

I finally herded together the extant pictures of the KIM-1s I've had in the past and did a writeup: http://www.glitchwrks.com/2022/09/18/kim1-boards-past TL;DR is that during college I found a KIM-1 in an employer's warehouse. Later, I found a box with five more! These were all Virginia Tech surplus, and one of them is likely the first KIM-1 used for classroom instruction there. I'd intended to sell some of them, since who needs six, right? Unfortunately, I was forced to sell all of them, including the one I'd intended to keep for myself, due to economic/financial situations after graduation. I've never seen anyone post about these particular machines, and I haven't seen them exhibited at VCF East, VCF Midwest, or HOPE. None of the sellers contacted me about them after the sale concluded. Is anyone here the owner of one of these particular KIM-1s? Do you know the owner? Did you use KIM-1s while at Virginia Tech? Please let me know! Thanks, Jonathan
