An "Imperial by Superscope" cassette recorder/player, model K304. This is the typical little portable cassette machine used to play and record tapes, and sometimes used by the vintage computer people to load and save programs. It's in excellent physical condition. Runs on C batteries or 120AC using the included line cord. I have not tested this. It's been packed away for 33 years. I will ship if you pay shipping. WTB: ISA 16bit XMS Board

Hello, Does anyone have a 16bit ISA XMS card that they're willing to part with? I'd prefer one that can take at least 4MB of RAM, but beggars can't be choosers. I'd also prefer SIMM slots (32 or 72 pin), but again, I'll take what I can get. This is for a 286-12, so I'd like the capability to run with zero wait states. I'll be at the swap meet, as well. - Alex

semi OT: video digitizing & archive

I need advice how to best digitize video, mostly standard def TV/NTSC of VCF events. I have several USB dongles that take composite and S-video. They may be adequate, but I don't know what one's really best. I also have several DVR (digital VCR): Tivo, Sonic Blue replay-tv. Did those have good front-ends or was most of the attention to the subscription service? I know they need to be "jail broken" to work like VCRs. There's no big red "just record NOW!" button :-( thanks -- Jeff Jonas

Swap Meet update

So far 21 people have signed up as vendors taking a total of 28 spaces so far. I have been spreading the word far and wide to many different places. If you know of a spot that I haven't touched, then let me know. I still have a few places to put the word out. I have heard from many people that they are excited about the event from both vendors and potential buyers. It will be nice to see not only faces that I see every month at the repair workshops, but others who come once a year and that I haven't seen for a while.
