Festivus Request: Lunatic Fringe on Macintosh

I would really love it if someone could bring a Macintosh with Lunatic Fringe on it. Lunatic Fringe is an After Dark game. I can't remember if it came with After Dark or More After Dark. A color Mac would be preferable such as an LC II, but anything that works is fine. Epson! Tandy! Full weekend report...

Very good weekend at the museum! Yesterday and today were slow, visitor-wise, but we did lots of other great stuff. Saturday: I brought the Mimeo to the 4th annual Jersey Shore Makerfest. VCF table was busy most of the day. Educated lots of people about the history of Apple and about VCFed/InfoAge. Also got a good lead for a potentially interesting artifact. Today: Kelly organized our Epson collection and most of our Tandy collection. Before, the Epson collection took up 4/5th of one shelving unit and parts of two pallets. Now it's all on a single shelving unit and we put aside eight surplus computers that will be available at Festivus first, workshops (Jan, Feb, March, April) second, and VCF East (May) third. Here's a picture of the surplus machines. (We did not yet sort through the keyboards; no guarantee of those being available.) https://tinyurl.com/y7bh2nq5 No, we didn't leave them stacked like that. The stack was only for the picture. They're very safely in two piles of four computers each. On the Tandy side, before we had four over-stuff shelving units; now it's three, not counting the Model 1 and a CoCo (model 2 or 3, I forget which) both in the museum. I didn't get pictures. Surplus-wise, there are four of five CoCos (models 1, 2, 3). Thank you Kelly for your hard work today.

Tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am-4pm I'm demo-ing the Mimeo at the 4th annual Jersey Shore Makerfest (jerseyshoremakerfest.org) All are welcome to visit. It's in Toms River, NJ (about 20 minutes south of the museum). Jeff B. will be our museum docent. I'm docenting Sunday while Kelly will be doing warehouse tasks (organizing our Epson/Tandy collections). I like productivity!

OT: Vintage Tektronix 465 Oscilloscope needs some TLC

I recently picked up a non-working Tektronix 465 Oscilloscope - in great physical shape I might add - in the hopes that I might resuscitate it. My hope was that it was a fuse or the power supply, something I could deal with, but it is apparently more than that. Does anyone on the list have experience with these that might be able to help or otherwise give some advice? - Bob

I was browsing through estate sales and came across this one: https://www.estatesales.net/VA/Arlington/22206/2040459 If you scroll to image 118 you will see some dusty/cobwebbed circuit boards, stored in a wooden "frame". Looks like discrete transistor logic. Also, a resistor sales/storage drawer set for OHMITE "Little Devils" a few pictures before. VERY IMPORTANT FESTIVUS 2018 INFO-MATION

Earlier I sent out the signup for Festivus. Here is more detailed info: *DATE:* December 1 & 2, 2018 *TIME:* Start about 10 A.M. on Saturday and goes late into the night until everyone sleeps. End about 5 P.M. on Sunday. (Re-starts around 10 A.M. Sunday morning) *LOCATION:* InfoAge Building 9010-D - (2201 Marconi Road, Wall Township, NJ) - It will be straight ahead once you enter through the gate. The door is marked Sandy Recovery and is up the steps. *PARKING:* InfoAge management wants us to park inside the campus, in a neat orderly row, between the Festivus building and the hackerspace building. The main parking lot remains available for guests of the model train show. Do not cost IA money by leaving it open to confuse paying guests. Always close it behind you when you enter/exit, EVEN IF IT WAS ALREADY OPEN! *COST:* $10 for all members attending Festivus, which VCF pays to InfoAge to rent the space and buy burgers, hot dogs and some supplies. $25 if you are staying overnight. See below for details. *EQUIPMENT:* VCF will have tables setup for food and games. We will have three full sized refrigerator to temporarily store food and drinks. VCF had a grill donated and will buy a propane tank to cook hamburgers and hot dogs outside. *DRINKS:* Everyone is encouraged to bring their own drinks and enough to share with others. Bring your favorite and put what you are bringing on the list: *FOOD:* VCF will be supplying burgers, hot dogs, condiments, plates, forks, napkins, cups.
