HP at the Swap Meet

If anyone is interested in HP gear, I'll have the following at the Swap Meet on the 30th: Two HP 85A systems Three HP 85B systems One of the 85A systems is labeled SYVA LAB PROCESSOR 6000, but appears to be a bog-standard 85A. One of the 85B systems is labeled WILTRON MODEL 85, but is a standard 85B. The systems are all tested and in working condition, except for the tape drives (will need new capstan rubber). The printers all work. Assorted modules for the Series-80 systems, including: 82903A 16K Memory Module 82936A ROM Drawer 82937A HP-IB Interface 82939A RS-232 Module 82908A 64K Memory DC100A tape cartridges, NIB. WARNING: these will NOT work unless you replace the tension bands before using them. Stop by my table if you're interested. I worked on those. It was a complex box but it was a very solid box. I only had 2 break on me. One was a power problem and one was a bad card that diagnostics found. Taxidermy is the biggest death of the minis, all the good ones too, you'll rarely find PDP11/70s in the wild as a result. very sad. Swap Meet (5/30/26) update

We are doubling the vendor space to 18' x 18'. We determined from a survey of the lot that a 9' x 18' space was too small. We have enough space in the new area to accommodate. When we had the big parking lot we didn't have parking lines, so it was hard to know exactly how much space people used. We are working on getting a food truck, but at this point there are no commercial trucks available or willing to do it. We were supposed to have the Fire Truck Museum guys, but they were not able to get any volunteers to do it. I found this out last minute after months of trying to nail down a commitment. We have the InfoAge Kitchen Truck, but we don't have volunteers to run it. They would need to be food safe certified, buy all the food, cook the food, get the Wall Township permit, etc. Getting a commercial food truck is next to impossible. Believe me, I tried for years to get one at the swap meet. They just don't think that they can make enough money on it. At VCF East, yes, they make money, but not for a swap meet. 8080 monitor command line processor help needed

All — I’m working on a reconstruction project (an unpublished time slicing OS for an 8080-target) and the command dispatcher code is missing. So, I’m trying to write a functional equivalent and I’m having some problems that I could use some help with. The OS is like a monitor but has a callable API (which I’m ignoring for now). The command loop is pretty generic — set the stack, get a line from the console, parse it and execute, and jump back. The “get line” is pretty generic and actually works fine. Grab chars and put them in a zero-terminated buffer; return on CR. The table of commands is structured like the following. 10th Anniversary of our current Museum 3.0!

I was looking through some old e-mails and noticed that on April 15, 2016 we opened up our current version 3.0 of the VCF museum for VCF East 2016. It's hard to believe that so much time has passed for this version of the museum! I remember helping set it up and all the changes that have happened over the years. We took a few months to get everything moved from version 2.0 (9032-C) and set up in the existing spot in 9010-A. Jeff Brace
