Ian and the other gentleman working on the Fredon Flexwritere, please note: I think the diodes are wired in wrong. https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?threads/friden-flexowriter-terminal.12417… It just dawned on me that the motor takes 100v DC and I looked at the above. The selenium diode (ah what a smell) may not work the way you think. We should have one of those. We should be able to figure out which wires are which. OT - air lines in the makerspace

Was discussion quite a while back about installing the air compressor in the furnace room (for noise control) and running an air line through the attic with drops / legs in the makerspace where required With the deployment of the de-soldering and rework stations (which run on external compressed air) we will need to revisit this, and decide on where the connections will need to be, and if any drops will be deployed in the classroom area for use during VCF workshops. Direct replies on location recommendations preferred to keep the noise level down. Martin Flynn

Jonathan, I tried using ddrescue last night, and was able to get a disk image. But both Linux and System 7.5.5 (under Basilisk II) say that they can't find a filesystem on the image. I know that the drive is marginal, however I can actually boot the SE from it, so I am confused as to why Basilisk II and Linux are saying that there is no readable filesystem on it.
